This week in Grade Four:
We've been planning a personal narrative this week! Students chose an event from their lives that they have a strong emotion about. We planned a beginning, middle and end and then made choices about transition words, adjectives, adverbs and strong verbs. We also learned how to write a hook and an ending and reviewed showing versus telling. We'll be revising and editing after Spring Break!
We're learning about decimal place value in math. This year we'll learn decimals to tenths and hundredths. We will compare and order decimal numbers and learn how to add and subtract.

Spring Break is here. Classes resume on Monday, March 30.
Please return your Human Sexuality Form. This year we require all forms to be returned by April 30. In grade four we learn about physical, social and emotion changes that may happen during puberty and coping strategies. To see the lessons please visit: teachingsexualhealth.ca.
Finish Up!
There is no Finish Up but many students have not handed in assignments. Students can bring any unfinished work after Spring Break.
