This week in grade 4:

We are learning about how to measure angles! We are using a protractor to measure angles. We also classified triangles by the length of their sides and their angles.

We're getting ready for Literature Circles! We're reading a new chapter book and learning the 5 roles.

Coming Up:

We're going on a Community Walk to Fish Creek Park on Tuesday, June 2. We will be leaving the school shortly after the bell so please be on time! It is about a 45 minute walk to the park and students will need good walking shoes, a water bottle, a snack that is easy to eat and a rain jacket. Once we arrive at the park we will be spending time with our Elder Hal Eagletail.

We're going to the Zoo on Wednesday, June 3. For this full day field trip students will need a backpack packed with a water bottle, lunch and snack. Please be prepared for the weather. We're taking part in a program in the Canadian Wilds.

Finish Up:

Geometry Lesson 4: Classifying Triangles
